Information provided by you, such as when ordering prints, making a booking, signing up to receive marketing communications, enter competitions or contact us is used to enable us deliver that service to you.

Information on customers behavior on our website and online gallery is collected in order to help us understand how customers use our website and gallery in order to improve it’s effectiveness.

Photography by Ian Lewis would like to keep you informed of products and services that we feel might be of interest to you. We will always notify you before collecting your information for marketing purposes. You are able to prevent the processing of your information for marketing purposes by not checking marketing opt-in boxes when providing information. You have the right to stop us contacting you for marketing purposes at any time by contacting us.


How Information Is Used

We use the information you supply to us to process your orders and manage your account. Other information provided by you such as when signing up to receive marketing communications, enter competition and contact us is used to help us deliver that service to you. Information provided via feedback forms or surveys does not contain identifying data and is used to help us improve our services. If you provide identifying data to enter a competition as part of survey that information is held securely until the survey closes and then is erased, no information collected via a survey or feedback for will be used to send marketing promotions. Any information provided to Photography by Ian Lewis will be treated as confidential and will not be traded, sold or rented to third parties.

Photography by Ian Lewis have procedures in place for the storage of your information to prevent unauthorised access. We also ensure that any third party websites we use (such as our online gallery, Paypal and marketing software) have robust security measure in place, however we are not responsible for these sites privacy policies and take no responsibility for their practices (please see individual websites for details). In providing some of our services it may become necessary to transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We do our upmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is stored securely. Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
